Internationalization as the key to success
One of the main keys to the success of ATOX Storage Systems is internationalization.
25 years ago, in 1991, ATOX established itself throughout the national territory and spread throughout Europe. In 1995 it began its expansion throughout Latin America. Today, ATOX is a leader in metal shelving and storage systems in several countries and is recognized for its high quality and its commitment to excellence in customer service.
ATOX maintains close ties with Panama. As a result of this relationship, ATOX has been hosting the Honorary Consulate of Panama in Asturias since 2012.
During our 25th anniversary, we were able to count on the presence of representatives of our delegation in Panama, who presented us with a reproduction of Panamanian pre-Columbian art, entitled “Brave Warrior” and with the dedication: “Argudo congratulates the ATOX team for their warrior spirit on its 25th anniversary.
D. Ismael Hernández, president and general manager of Argudo, narrated how his collaboration with ATOX Storage Systems began and how the commitment and dedication of the ATOX team made it easier to establish this relationship almost 20 years ago, which has led to ATOX metal racking being number one in the Panamanian market.
For his part, Mr. Carlos Puga, commercial director of projects at Argudo, explained what success meant to him, how the storage sector in Panama has evolved and the challenges it has been necessary to face. He ended his speech with the words: “true success lies in the human group, who work as a single team and in the same direction.”
Human values, the essence of our success
Mr. Joaquín Valdés, psychologist and sports coach of the Fútbol Club Barcelona, was present at the celebration of our 25th anniversary, given his professional and personal relationship with ATOX. Professionally, he has been teaching us for years to enhance our leadership and teamwork skills.
Valdés dedicated a few words to us highlighting the human values that act as the driving force in ATOX Storage Systems, emphasizing teamwork, saying that “great teams don’t see what they are when things are going well, but rather when you have to put your best foot forward.” shoulder because the situation is complicated”, and that this has been demonstrated in ATOX during these 25 years growing together.
His speech gave special recognition to Mr. José Blásquiz, president of Grupo ATOX, saying that “the personality of any team is a reflection of the person who directs it, of its leader”. And he ended by emphasizing a specific value, friendship. A friendship of more than twelve years that has led him to declare himself a “Blasquizista”.
The success of storage systems by business sector
ATOX Storage Systems has extensive experience optimizing warehouses of all sizes belonging to a wide variety of business sectors. Mr. Valeriano Andrés, director of the Madrid office, ATOX Centro, explained the factors that have made ATOX Storage Systems a successful position, providing customized storage solutions for multinationals with warehouses located in different European countries.
ATOX Storage Systems as a logistics partner
Mr. José Manuel Carregal, general director of ATOX Galicia, presented the success story entitled “Attraction of a client through trust and improvement of its production capacity/system”.
During his speech, he highlighted how the ability of ATOX Storage Systems to adapt the manufacture of its metal racks to the specific needs of each warehouse provides added value that makes our customers more competitive. This, together with the great professionalism and seriousness of our human team, has allowed us to establish relationships of trust and loyalty. In this way, ATOX is more than a supplier of metal racks, becoming a logistics partner that allows its clients to evolve in the optimization of their warehouses as the new logistics demands require it.
Automatic warehouses for unconventional loads
The exhibition of success stories, during the celebration of our 25th anniversary, continued to focus on warehouse automation.
Mr. Víctor Burón, Industrial Engineer and expert in Integral Logistics, currently working at the Gijón headquarters of ATOX Storage Systems, is specialized in turnkey logistics projects for automated storage. During the presentation of his success story, entitled “Automated warehouses for non-conventional loads”, he indicated how in certain business sectors the storage of non-conventional loads is necessary at the same time that growth in height and optimization of tasks are demanded. of maintenance
ATOX’s capacity for innovation has led us to remain at the forefront in the manufacture of automated warehouses and high-bay clad-rack warehouses, being pioneers in high-performance storage solutions for non-conventional loads that require completely custom-designed storage systems.
Synergy and customized automated warehouses
The collaboration between Syleps and ATOX Storage Systems allows the specialization of both companies to be combined, integrating their solutions perfectly with each other while adapting to the specific needs of each client. Thus, an added value is achieved that provides tailor-made turnkey solutions, far superior to those of the competition.
The ability of ATOX Storage Systems to adapt the manufacture of its metal racks to each type of load, whether conventional or not, makes it possible to provide optimized solutions to the needs of each client. Along with solutions for medium loads and light loads, ATOX’s extensive experience in heavy loads, with all kinds of storage systems for pallet racking, guarantees the most efficient storage solution for each type of warehouse and business sector.
Innovation and automation in warehouses
The 25th anniversary of ATOX Storage Systems ended with a round table on innovation and warehouse automation, in which they reflected on the productivity improvement achieved with smart warehouses.
It was also pointed out how, in modern logistics, warehouses face the preparation of more frequent orders but with fewer units. This multiplies the number of lines to process without necessarily meaning a higher volume of sales, so productivity in maintenance tasks becomes a key factor for the profitability of a warehouse. Clearly, it is necessary to resort to automated storage systems that allow the optimization of picking.
The characteristics of ATOX Soluciones Tecnológicas automated systems were highlighted which, due to their modular design, allow automation to be implemented progressively. This facilitates the path of evolution from conventional warehouses to intelligent warehouses. Modularity also allows automated storage solutions to grow as warehouse logistics needs grow.
