ATOX Storage Systems has developed a unique application of the elements of the metal shelving for picking intended to work with a stacker crane that feeds plastic boxes or light-weight containers, normally between 25 and 80 Kg/box.
The boxes are positioned on angles bolted to the side of the upright allowing the machine platform to be positioned under the load for removal. In discrete positions, beams are placed that do not support load and whose function is to maintain the width of the module and give stability to the structure.On the back there is a vertical bracing system in discrete modules to control the longitudinal movement of the structure, given the reduced tolerances imposed by this handling system. The vertical bracing is complemented by a horizontal one between the beam levels, only in the affected modules, to limit the displacement of the line of props in the aisle.
With this picking system, high productivity, high performance of space and great ease of access to the stored product are achieved.
