The ISO 9000 family of standards, which first emerged in 1987, addresses various aspects of quality management. Within this family, the ISO 9001 standard is the only one that can be certified, and establishes the requirements for a quality management system (QMS) applicable to a company or organization of any size and any sector. For ATOX Storage Systems, which, being a leading manufacturer of metal racks, is part of the logistics sector chain, its priority objectives are the commitment to quality and the satisfaction of its customers’ expectations.
While the ISO 9001:2008 standard is currently in force, a new draft of the standard is being prepared, which will give rise to the ISO:9001:2015 standard and which, seven years apart from its predecessor, will enter into force in 2016. The new specification is expected to modify approximately 30% of the current ISO 9001:2008, with notable changes such as the replacement of the term “customer” in favor of the more general “interested party”, as a sign that the ISO 9001 standard: 2015 will propose a focus on quality in a broader scope and on models of business excellence.
ATOX Storage Systems is a manufacturer of metal racking and applies the highest quality standards in its entire range of storage solutions, from pallet racking for heavy loads and clad-rack warehouses to picking racks and metal racking for light loads.
