An important logistics operator in the publishing sector located in Madrid uses the high-quality metal racking from ATOX Storage Systems to meet its growth needs.
Through the ATOX Centro de Madrid delegation, the editorial warehouse was installed in a 22,000 m2 warehouse located in Azuqueca de Henares (Guadalajara).
Metal racks for pallets
As a solution to the storage of products on pallets, conventional pallet racking was installed for 10,000 pallets, with a height of 9 m and 6 height levels per module.
Conventional pallet racking allows direct access to each product, solving the degree of agility and rotation levels that were required in this warehouse.
Expansion of the picking storage space
In addition to the palletizing area, the warehouse has a picking area. In order to maximize storage capacity, metal racks of elevated walkways for picking, at double height (floor plus one floor), at 5 1/2 meters and with 10 load levels (5 per floor), with a total of 5,320 load levels, making a total of 9.8 km of racking .
