Diesel Technic, world leader in alternative spare parts for commercial vehicles, has expanded its facilities in Madrid with metal racks manufactured by ATOX Storage Systems.
Thanks to ATOX’s experience and the flexibility of its storage solutions, a capacity of 25,000 SKUs has been reached after the expansion, including the palletizing area and elevated picking aisles, being prepared for further expansions in the future.
Greater profitability of the picking area with elevated aisles
Achieving the highest profitability of a warehouse requires optimizing storage space.
This has been achieved in the picking area by installing a system of elevated aisles designed and manufactured to measure by ATOX, with a total capacity of 13 kilometers of racking distributed at ground level and 2 floors, with 6 levels per floor.

High reliability palletizing with the ATOX SL-9000 system
The palletizing area has been expanded with the SL-9000 racking system, internationally renowned for its reliability since the early 1990s.
Using pallet racks with a height of 9.5 meters, the capacity for 1,000 additional pallets has been increased, resulting in a total of 3,100 pallets.
Conventional pallet racking allows direct access to each location, making it ideal for a wide variety of SKUs and a high level of turnover. Atox also has a wide range of pallet racking solutions with elimination of aisles, such as live racking, drive-in pallet racking and push-back racking, as well as automated solutions such as the radio shuttle system.
