On October 17, and in a solemn ceremony in the Auditorium of the University of Oviedo, the ASICOM 2013 Award was presented to the Panamanian National Commission for the Commemoration of the 5th Centenary of the Discovery of the Pacific Ocean.
This Commission is chaired by Mrs. Marta Linares de Martinelli, First Lady of the Republic of Panama, who, unable to attend in person due to scheduling problems, delegated to Dr. Francisco Linares Ferrer, Commissioner and close collaborator of the aforementioned Commission, receiving this award.
Demonstrating the deep bond, not only business but also affective, that ATOX Storage Systems maintains with Panama, Dr. Linares gave us a visit to our facilities during his stay in Spain, where the Honorary Consulate of Panama has its headquarters and whose ownership holds our President, Mr. José Blásquiz Moreno.2
