A new installation of metal racks from ATOX Storage Systems is providing service in Madrid to an important company in the automotive sector. This company, which plays an important role in the logistics and distribution of automobile spare parts, and which already operated in a consolidated way in Andalusia, has expanded with a new logistics facility in the community of Madrid to serve the growing demand of your clients.
To ensure the success of the project, and through the Madrid office of ATOX Storage Systems, the high quality of the ATOX metal racking was used with an installation of four-height elevated aisles with picking racks for 70,000 SKUs. Each floor has 6 levels, reaching a total height of 9 and a half meters and a storage area of 2,680 m2, which has required 11 km of racking. To optimize productivity in handling, the installation was completed with a transport roller spiral that allows products to be lowered from each floor.
This same automotive parts logistics and distribution company had already used the high quality of ATOX storage systems to expand its warehouses in Andalusia and, given its efficiency, once again relied on the metal shelves of ATOX Storage Systems for their new warehouses in Madrid.
ATOX Storage Systems, with more than 50 years of experience, has extensive experience in storage in the automotive sector, as well as in a wide variety of industrial and logistics sectors. As a leading manufacturer of storage systems, it offers a wide variety of solutions, both in racking for conventional pallet racking, live racking and compact racking, as well as picking racking and light racking. For further optimization of space, lofts or mezzanines and raised aisles allow you to multiply the storage space in a warehouse. In the case of high-density, high-bay warehouses, ATOX provides solutions for clad-rack warehouses and stacker cranes.
Betting on innovation, ATOX Storage Systems expands its catalog of solutions with the warehouse automation systems of ATOX Technological Solutions, with systems specially focused on high-performance handling, such as the Radio Shuttle Sherpa 800 pallet conveyor, the Disban H automatic dispensers for automatic order preparation, the light-guided system for pick-to-light operations and put-to-light and smart roller conveyors.
