ATOX has carried out the installation of various metal shelving systems in the delegation of an important multinational furniture company on the Island of Martinique.
The facility consists of two mezzanines with a total area of 2,000 m2, one of them placed on a conventional pallet racking system for a total of 1,400 pallets, as well as a Cantilever racking system with crossbars designed and manufactured specifically for furniture storage. .
The installation was completed with systems for lifting and moving the material with motorized rubber belts that allow the stacked products to be moved over 23 meters and hoisted up to 10 meters high.
The island of Martinique is in a high-intensity seismic risk area, so the combined selective rack and mezzanine project was designed and developed in accordance with local regulations, taking into account the requirements established therein in order to achieve adequate behavior in case of seismic movements.
