ATOX Storage Systems was awarded the INNOVASTURIAS award for innovative partner, for its ATOX Light-Assisted System (ATLAS) project for light-guided order picking, which has already been implemented abroad.
Last Thursday, April 25, INNOVASTURIAS held its annual assembly, during which the diplomas were also presented to new partners as well as the innovative prizes of the year, which on this occasion went to ATOX Storage Systems and the Port Authority of Gijon.
This award is a recognition of ATOX’s commitment to innovation with its range of automations from ATOX Technological Solutions.
In response to the demanding demands of modern warehouses, ATOX developed an innovation project that gave rise to its ATLAS order picking system using light guidance or pick to light, which optimizes picking performance and improves its versatility and ergonomics. Combined with its intelligent roller transport system, it is possible to raise the levels of profitability of the warehouses, necessary for the competitiveness and sustainability of modern logistics.
